Last Night...

...was ace. As usual. I had a ball in the bar, what an ace crowd. Big pat on the back to you all. Phat Phil joined the party halway through and turned up the heat, awesome. I also enjoyed Yoda, particularly the 1st hour of his set when he played some awesome underground hip hop with not much turntablism getting in the way of the quality beats. Really got me bustin moves. He later went into 'cheesey' mode but he had already made up for the lack of hip hop legend Spinbad with his earlier selections. 8)

And I was pi$sed at the Masque for the first time since the 'We Love Liverpool' party! I wont leave it as long before I have a bevvy at buku again! Apologies to any one who I may have molested mentally or physically. And for my mongy-ness at the end of the night... :oops:

The Monkeys were the shizzel fo dizzel!, that reworking of the theme from Only Fools And Horses = a thing of beauty. Yoda was class too, I've seen him a good 4 or 5 times now and this was by far his most restrained set. Plus the theme from deliverence is quality 8)

The atmosphere on saturday was superb, didnt really make it out of the theatre until after Felix B's set - both he and the guys from sankeys were quality, as was the bar afterwards.

I managed to catch a tiny bit of Felix and an even smaller bit of the bar but both seemed to be rocking.

The Beat Monkeys were ace, although I hate that Zorba Dance track... everyone else seemed to enjoy it :? Only the second time I've heard the Only Fools and Horses theme tune, first was at the Lemon Lounge last summer and I had no idea why everyone was going mad.

Yoda was pretty fab as I knew he would be, I couldn't breathe on the dancefloor at first so had a sneaky dance at the back :)

All in all I had a really good night, meal with friends earlier (thanku Y-Birds Mum) and a quality night at the Masque. Now for work :evil:

Then downstairs in the bar with Phil Charnock, 2 hours of the most eclectic nonsense, the most fun for ages.... Roll on NYE... Big Bar Brawl when me, Charnock and Hodge go for gold...

And big ups to all the peeps who came and danced their socks off, the atmosphere was amazing...

What a weekend! Was sat in bed at 11.30 on sat night, watchin match of the day. I thought "what the fook am i doing here? its a saturday." :roll: managed to catch the last bus into town and just made it in.

did a lot of walking about - mixing it up. really enjoyed the bar, the loft and the theatre.

the after session at the Calli was awesome, as was the drinkin at Kelly's (note to oneself - RED ERIC IS DANGEROUS)

dont remember anything after the last thing I remember! dont recall leaving the pub. I was sure (at the time) that I was in complete control! evidently not!

Was awoken at 2 this morning by my house mate (he'd been on work session) asleep on the armchair in the living room. for some reason I had decided to fall asleep here wearing only my shirt I had been out in, my boxer shorts and one sock :?:
surprisingly, I was a little confused by the whole situation. going to bed as difficult as I couldnt find my keys. found my trousers though - on the ironing board - as you do :!: :?: :!:
found my keys in the bathroom.

although in a horrible mess and thinkin "shit! gotta be at work in five hours!", I did manage to make my lunch for today.
