Hi All...

This coming Saturday down at the Dragon, Bommynite Music is hosting its 2nd party of the month. The vibe on Saturday at the Dragon concentrates on the uptempo side of dance music from Soulful to Deep House, and Techno to D n B. The music spun at the Dragon is second to none, and the vibe is freakin' awesome in such a small venue. Also, the best part is that it is totally free entry.

As you may or not know the residents are Alex 'Slippers' Sweeney and some random dude Nick The Greek. Bommynite has invited TrusMe from Manchester to add the extra flavour to this party.

TrusMe a.k.a David Wolstencroft

‘TrusMe’, a.k.a David Wolstencroft, is in his mid twenties and based in Manchester. David is a promising producer and DJ, who has caught the attention of some serious hitters with his debut 12” on Chicago label ‘Still Music’. Peeps who have given the thumbs up on this 12” are;

Piccadilly Records – “It's easily as good as some of the Moodymann's best work, a total dancefloor killer that's cool enough for the trainspotters yet still brimming with potent funk for any dancefloor”. Fat City Records – “This KILLER 12 from new artist Trusme on Chicago’s taste maker imprint ‘Still Music’ has all the hallmarks of a classic house-infused release with touches of Kerri Chandler on lead track ‘Browns’ - a sleeping dancefloor behemoth that is being battered by Gilles Peterson amongst others and is soon to take the house world by storm.” Roots Before Branches Peter Nicholson XLR8R Review March 2007
David’s djing resume may be short but first impressions suggest that this dude has a promising future in the music industry. His musical style is extremely varied, ranging from Disco to Boogie and Broken Beat to Nu Jazz and soulful Detroit Techno/House, Soulful and Deep House.

On Saturday 17th March at the Dragon bar, Bommynite Music welcomes TrusMe into the Dragon’s Den and all signs are that he will inspire anyone still sitting down to shake their funky arses….

See you on Saturday......
