I was in the town centre today and although not busy, I can see the Christmas Shopping Disease (CSD) has taken hold.
Symptoms:
Having no awareness that there are other people walking around too
Stopping abruptly in front of a shop entrance (often causing a pile up)
Sudden changes in direction for no apparent reason
Does anybody know a cure to this crippling illness? You could make millions...

there is an answer....
run around screaming an take an aspirin or a effervescing pharmaceutical of some kind which should not be swallowed... giving a foaming at the mouth effect. Watch the melee part like the red sea while you jabber and move your way to your destination, where you can finally stop and enter a shop of your choice with less hassle than normal. :)
Alternatively carry a shotgun around and occasionally threaten people with it.... the only drawback being you will likely get taken down by the rozzers.

sadly there is no known cure and unfortunately a far worse outbreak is about to happen.
January-Sale-itis will soon hit us. It has much the same effects as CSD but with far more pushing, sweat, obscenities and general lack of sense.
i am going into hiding til its over.

i think a more strategic approach is needed.
lets block all the cashies in town up with egg nog and then the buggers wont be able to get their hard earned cash with which to furnish the pockets of the chrimbo hijackers or dixons, as some like to call em.

I think internet shopping is gonna dominate my presents this year....
I like the spiky tree on stick idea, I reckon couple that with the foaming mouth and I could sort out all the pressies within an hour
Look out for me in Marksy's
