Here we go... The second installment of the Ape at The Apollo madness
comes around at the start of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend on THURSDAY 5TH
APRIL(It's Good Friday the next day so no work!!!).
Anyone who came to the first event here will testify that even this amazing venue, that
has seen everyone from Prince and Madonna to Kraftwerk, The Prodigy and
NERD (and pretty much every other major name in music!), tread the boards
has rarely witnessed an atmosphere like that. As I said on the mic that
night,
Manchester really showed everyone how it was done.
This second part looks set to be another ripper... Hip-Hop angles are
covered early on by legendary DMC Champ from Denmark DJ Noize and the
UKs number one Beatbox talent Shlomo followed by an awesome six deck
mashup from the Scratch Perverts prior to DnB heavyweights Andy C and Marky
rumbling through the final hours... This is gonna be super heavy.
**Please note that the last event completely sold out two days in
advance, so get your tickets early. To minimise ticket touting, some outlets may
operate a four per person limit**
