I cud post u a catalouge of hard house tunes that hav better production than alot of house tunes, at the same time I cud giv u a load of house tunes (tech, deep woteva) that hav better production than a hard house... It just depends on the engineer.
& every1 shud hav an opinion but thats all it is, an opinion is not fact. anything creative is down to the indivuals taste & wot they get from it and how it makes them feel. Thousands of people go and stomp there wkends away to hard house every week, so there must hav sumthing.
Im not backin it's corner cause I went thru that faze wen I was 15/16 and dun in 15/16 pills every wkend. Am in 2 soulful house, old soul, disco, r'n'b, hip hop, but I have an appreciation of all music...

definately, tis all personal tastes, but it is definately a known fact that production values/standards in hard house are on average alot lower than that of house and techno. Thats not to say the people making it are any less skilled, alot of people doing HH coming from other backgrounds etc etc, its simply because the genre hasnt been around all that long compared to house/techno... to say alot of techno sounds unfinished, hmmm well not quite, i kinda know what u mean if it comes to the really minimal stuff but overall i wouldnt say so...

haha addiction regulars, i went to addiction once and bedlam once on both occasions to take drugs.... where on the other hand u actually ran your own hard house night for a few years... certain words spring to mind including "pot" "calling" "the" "kettle" "black"

i think over the last 2 weeks theres been alot of debate between scenes which is unnecesary slagging.In my honest opinion were defensive of what we see as our own or a part of.
I hate hard house,i like house but not a huge fan of soulful stuff.i love breaks and techno.
For me its about the composition mixed with the vibe it creates in a club for me personally.
Ive been to Inzomniacs at 8am in the morning and thats what hard house reminds me of.
dreadful K'd up children bouncing around in furry boots and cowskin dresses...and thats just the blokes!
