Ripping software

Does anyone know of some software that'll let me rip my cd's into mp3 format? Windows media player turns all my tunes into wma and I can't put em on my mp3 player or burn em off again.

Exact Audio Copy is the best freeware programme i've used, really good error correction to cope with scratched CDs too:

You can change what media player rips cds as in the tools --> rip music option. You can specif bit rate etc. Dead easy.
