:D Happy New Year Chibuku People! :D

Me and one of the Mocha crew plus about 60 others ran in the Great Manchester 10k run last year and raised a load of cash for CALM. It was a top event and even though I hadn't run since school it gave me the kick I needed to get fit.

This years event is on Sunday May 20th and although that's a long way off you have to register very early to get a place as the event is very, very popular (thousands of people...)

If you fancy having a go you can now set a reminder so the organisers email as soon as booking opens. Then, you can register for the run, bung me a p.m. and I can send you some forms etc.

Good news is, there is no minimum amount you have to raise or any pressure.

I had a top day last time and between us we raised about fifteen grand!

Thanks for reading!!! :-D

Can't be any more knackering than dancing for 8hrs on NYE... In fact you could run dressed as a pirate... (I'll shut up now)

I'm in. I think Hyda should do it as well seeing as he's probably one of the fitest people in Merseyside at the moment, and Lewis coz he's just fat. Roll on May.

Just to let you know that entry is now open for the 10k Great Manchester Run on Sunday 20th May 2007.

If you want to run for CALM please register online quick as places go very quickly. http://www.greatrun.org/events/registration_gmr.asp

If you do, please place Jane Powell’s name in the “running partner” section on the reg form so that we can all set off together in the same “wave”.
