Absolute quality. Always a good shindig on New Year, even without Will's mad little hobbit head on display. Beat Monkeys were fantastic, the bar was such a good bopfest and the theatre finished off with some beauties. Good to see Wandy back and well up for some more solo-resident nights in the new year. And then there was Futurebound........fuck-a-doodle-doo. There's me in immense!

What a firin' night, had a brill time in all the rooms but was lovin the pirate jumpin about in the bar waving a flashing sword about behind the dex. Don't know who he was but he R O C K E D our world and made this one of our fave NYE xperiences for years! .Thanx to all the Chibuku shipmates for a fab party! .

Andy Carroll was the dj waving the sword in the bar area and he played a rocking set, hightlights being his electro disco selection and ending with the Sex Pistols ''friggin in the Riggin''.It was great meeting up with Wandy again and meeting Yvonne hope the trip to Wales went well ;)
I would like to to thank Rich and everyone else in the set up of the night for making this the best nye for many years :)

Great night, not packed like sardines like it usually is on NYE which made for a much more enjoyable atmosphere.

Phil Charnock in the bar was ace, quality disco tunes to see in the New Year. Wasnt impressed with the music coming out of the theatre, what happened to playing house music you can dance to? This electro-house bullshit is abysmal and needs to die a quick death, fair play for playing james brown though.

Futurebound in the loft was fantastic, the crowd were well up for it and he didnt dissapoint. Theres definitely a market for drum & bass in Liverpool, the other night and the other nights chibuku have had this year show that.

only just recovered from NYE. Brilliant time in there started off in the bar had a little dance shake of the leg. Went to the theatre to bring in the new year amazing! seriously the best new years eve i have had! The james brown tribute after midnight was a very nice touch...
Went to the magnet after 'buku finished..it werent great IMO..dunno dont think the atmosphere got took across..met some decent people in there sayin that

Chibuku on NYE was a 1st class party IMO.

Really friendly crowd, nice punters, some very interesting interpretations on pirate theme (including spam man, 2 Osama Bin Ladens, the Ex- Presidents inc. Monica Lewinsky and Beetlejuice) and a club that you could easily move around.

Phil Charnock and Chris in the bar played and mixed some quality music in the bar. Beat monkeys and Loz's ableton shinanagans in the loft were quality. Had to go to the Magnet to get set up to play the afterparty at 2 so only caught Futurebounds 1st (dope) tune - sounds like he rocked it. Me and Ali buzzed off playing the loft 1-2 - Respect to a wicked crowd up there!

Big thanks to Rich, Lewis and all the other hard working Chibuku posse who grafted their assess off to give Livepool a sensibly priced quality musical selection box on a night where even the local boozer seems to want to charge you a tenner to get in.

Had a whale of a time there it was my first ever new years eve attendance at chibuku.

Couldn't believe how friendly everyone was and only saw one or two drunken angry heads.

Although mental note to self watch out on the stairs they sure are slippy hehe.

had a great night....couldnt tell you were I was at 12 as I cant remember very much at all....the party only actually finished today at 5am....was very messy indeed....
the afterparty we had in my mates basement afterwards was amazing...got some mad vids of me busting out 'the time of my life' to a basement full of lunatic girls....was quality haha
