DAVE CLARKE – the honorary dark lord of Voodoo makes a welcome return to the dark side of Liverpool. DC's music has been a constant throughout Voodoo's many incarnations, from his early productions as Directional Force on labels magnetic North, R&S & XL through the Red series to his latest wave of releases on Skint. Remix work reads like a whose who including Depeche Mode, Moby, Underworld, Leftfield, Gary Numan, New Order, Laurent Garnier, Green Velvet, Aphrohead & Christopher Just to name just a few. Once describing playing Voodoo as having 'a good f***' there's really nothing more to say! www.daveclarke.com
EVIL EDDIE RICHARDS – Eddie Richards is Britain's godfather of house and techno according to Mixmag, and quite frankly – for once – we agree. One of the UK's original 'mix' DJs he played at influential underground clubs such as Clink St, Heaven and Hacienda, he went on to play at all the major raves including Sunrise, Helter Skelter and Energy. Remix and production work lead to the release of Acidman in 1988 which hit the top 20 followed by other hit remixes of Ralphi Rosario, Orbital and The Shamen. Since the mid 80s he's been in virtually every book, documentary and film on dance culture and sought after the world over for his flawless mix of deep bass driven techno with soulful and tough tribal house, which has lead him to be regarded as the pioneer of what is known as tech-house. www.eddierichards.net
