For the 2nd installment of 'The Itch n Scratch' its all about the Funk with headline act BIG DADDY MOOCHIN this Friday (Nov 17th) @ Magnet.
Formed back in 2001 BDM are an 8 piece stormin funk band who play raw dancefloor funk, laced with crashing drums, hot horns, gritty guitar and cool organ sounds. They played a legendary show at Magnet 2 years ago and since then have made several releases including 'No rest for the wicked' on Freestyle Records. The return and are harder, funkier and badder than ever. Solid boogaloo-funk!
Itch n Scratch residents Sketchy Bwoy, Patience, james Saville Junior and Joby will be tearing it up on the turntables whilst The Punning Clan will be dropping freestyles in the fishtank. As always emphasis on the Soul, Funk, Hiphop and Bboy Breaks.
Its 9.30 til 2 and £4 in. Got more soul than a sock with a hole.
