To celebrate their first year of hedonistic intimate parties at Preston club ‘Ignition’ the North Wests dirtiest dancefloor Disco Slut touch down at 53 Degrees to unleash their electronically charged mix of house, electro, and indie guitar driven electronic beats upon the venue with two internationally renowned house heavy weights to add further flamboyance to the proceedings!
Mike Monday‘s profile exploded in 2005 with a series of storming productions that add to what is an extensive back catalogue and have took pride of place in the record bags of DJ’s across the world. Gigs worldwide from Russia to Austrailia to the US to everywhere in Europe – and such a high profile in Paris that he plays there more often than most local DJ’s. His Preston debut promises to be an un-missable one, especially as this is a man that rarely perfoms in the North West.
Second on the billing we welcome a familiar face from Darren Emerson’s unstoppable Underwater Records label, Paul Jackson. Paul is a DJ with an extensive discography that sees him sitting proudly amongst dance music’s finest DJs and producers. In the process of writing his first solo album we can no doubt expect a sneaky preview of some of his finest new material on the night.
Support on the night comes from a selection of the ever impressive Disco Slut residents, now with a multitude of high profile gigs under their belt in 2006. Expect Paul Flintoff to be providing us with a tight set of sleazy electro whilst Jim Da Mentalist (Anti Hero) and Pete Carvell once again go head to head to provide you with a fine selection of guitar driven electronic gems alongside their own productions and edits of indie stompers.
