Superfly moves to the Zanzibar on a permanent basis this month with a special birthday celebration! Its three years since we swaggered onto Liverpool’s club scene, drawing in the likes of The Freestylers, Sonny Wharton, Ali B and James Mowbray into play for us, and we’ve gone one better this time and hauled in Serge Santiago! The king of the re-edits, Serge has moved quickly from being the south coast’s best kept secret to one of the djs straddling the upper echelons of the elite, playing in Space Ibiza, The Panorama Bar in Berlin and headlining top British clubs like Bugged Out and Urban Gorilla. His remix wonder touch has kissed the works of Elton John, Tiga, Goldfrapp, Kylie Minouge and even Paul McCartney; we’re rightfully excited about having him come down to play!
Support in the main room alongside Serge comes from General Jimmy and Dan Travis, whilst the loft is hosted by Dash, Ben Proudlove and Stewart MacLeod. As usual we’ve got a rather tasty after-party and pre-party lined up, details of both to be announced shortly. Come share some of our cake.
