what did i miss at the weekend?

its was crap wasent it? tell me i missed nothing...

It was wicked - Roni and Dynamite smashed it in Theatre and the Beat Monkeys got to play the last hour upstairs and proved more than worthy! If it's been a while get your Shadow ticket now and get down on June 10th.

u missed a pretty good night. roni size was banggin out the drum and bass and krafty kuts was ok too. i couldn't keep the pace though i was nackerd after an hour and a half of roni size i don't know how some people keep bouncin all night

Didnt get chance to see any of Roni Size, didnt want to move from the loft in case I missed anything! Krafty Kuts and The Beat Monkeys were brilliant. Top night 8)

roni size was class. it seemed really empty to me all night though, apart from in the theatre when roni size was on. dunno if anyone else thought that or whether it wsa just me tho.

yeah, i expected it to be busier but it was great having room to dance like an idiot :D

it was pretty empty to start with but by the time krafty kutz and eventually roni came on it was pretty full. but yer, beatmonkeys, roni and dynamite smashed it, though he didnt play much hip hop. saw the begining of krafty kutz which was cool...wish i saw a bit more though.

He replied.. I got some Joan Armatrading for your ass....

I replied OH...

He then proceeded to ignore the hip hop vibe and played 3 hrs of rinse out.

nice tho .. he played some stuff going back years...

haha yer...i throught it was funny the way he dropped like 3 hip hop tunes on the sly at about 10 to 3 before finishing with more drum and bass...like im not complaining as it was awesome, but would have been amazing to have a proper hip hop set as dynamite was there aswell...prehaps next time, remind him that getting dynamite to say 'out in the streets they call it murder' a few times doesnt count as a hip hop set.

anyway well done man, was a wicked night.
