Right im told a few of you live here so here goes;
Im Currently livin' in Borrowdale road by the brookhouse, its one of those parallel roads (see Lidderdale, Ferndale, Brookdale). My chums and i are lookin at a house by Grant avenue (the which runs along the Mystery) Has anyone lived in either roads, just want to know how those roads (Edenfield, Winchfield, Mickelfield, Brierfield etc) compare the the 'dales'
Id like to take this oppotunity to apologise for the boringness of this post...

Why move away from the Dales I ask! I lived on Langdale last year and have since moved to 3 Borrowdale! Well nice houses :D

In my dim & distant past, I lived on Langdale with my girlfriend of the time, and nine other girls.
Hideous house it was, with snails in the shower.

I used to live in Devondale,easy access to PapaJohns Pizza,Bargain Booze.etc.quality!!
Are there any gaffs going down that end 4 rent, I am currently residing in me mates box room and it is killing me, if anyone knows of any....

I lived in a lovely place on Allerton Road which was hard to fault for the money, but two of the girls I lived with never stopped moaning about it. Why? Because they had the pleasure of living on Grant Avenue, thats why. I never heard the last of that damn road. So its probably good on Grant Avenue...

yeah our house was nice at one point* since then me and 4 hairy arsed lazy mates have partyed it into a state of disrepair. ONe of me housemeeertes is goin to uni in leeds, one is goin to Barcelona, so we're 'sizing down'. Plus the fact that the contract ran out in April and 'neighbourhood watch' woman (i think thats what she said, i was rat-ar­sed) has, in no uncertain terms, said she wanted us out.
So, our time is up...

it aint really a big deal what road u live on as long as ur past asda and headin towards allerton, evrything before that is ghetto fabulous, without the fab bit. all those streets, roads are nice, its just whatever house you get.
what number you movin into so i can get the eggs ready?

we used to live on russell road, our house was boss 8)
we also looked at a super swish house on grant ave :)

I live just off the top of Smithdown Road, on Upper Parliament Street. The flat is quite huge, but the area is a bit like Beirut. Our two local pubs are the Boundary, and the Rob Roy.....Nice.
I had a mate who lived on Lidderdale Road, her flat was well sound, and the vibe around Smithdown was always pretty upbeat. Plus the recent mix of students/gangsta coke-dealers around Smithdown is making for some interesting stuff.
Further down by the mystery is outside the circle of fun, you may end up going to Mustard all the time, and turn into a Grown up.

He followed my girlfriend of the time from the shops to the house one day, then pulled up and offered her 'work' for him.
She declined.
Always interesting on Friday, which I assume was pay-day, to see a dozen huge lads sat outside waiting.
Not threatening in ANY way!

I used to Live in Borrowdale although left when I was six months old. I now live in "the ring of fire" as you put it. A bit rough at times, but I haven't burgled in 9 years and my neighbours are sound, and my local boozer (The Royal) is sound too.
An ex girlfriend of mine from outside liverpool had a mate who lived in the Grant Avenue area, and referred to where I lived as "Lower Wavertree". I never was sure whether she meant geographically or socio-economically :roll: .
That should obviously read "haven't been burgled" :oops:

panama jack is allegedly part of the liverpool underworld, or at least was. he was accused of murder years ago but was not found guilty. he lives quietly along langdale road and drives a big bad ass mercedes and has cctv outside his house which looks up and down the street. my house got broken into through the back door when i lived there and the police were astonished as apparently there is never any crime along that street because of the man himself!

I realise that these people don't know who YOU are but they can get the people whom RUN Chibuku, so think before what you write.
If you read my previous Posts you'll know that am from that area & while people that are into that thing are'nt likely to become members of the Forum people know people. Liverpool has the attitude of a Village yet its a City.
Please don't just put were YOU live as people involved in that 'lifestyle' don't mess.

Am more of a legend of The Lemon Lounge Chibuku era due to having an alright paid job but I hit a bad patch due to looking after my ill Grandmother.
But she's doing fine now so I'll be going to more future Chibuku's, really enjoyed the cheap special that went on ONLY £6 on the door.
Am fine don't bite & a laugh unlike certain OTHER people. H.R.H Lady Funk knows me so I do exist.

Used to live on 47 Langdale las year and tis true! No one got broken into on our street (that we know) although there is an even funnier gangster on 49a called Aaron that used to hang outside his bedroom window with a gun telling noisy students to shut the fuck up hahahaa.
Ask any cab driver about Panama Jack on Langdale and they'll tell you some right stories - The one with the triads and the construction yard is frightening :? But he's been laying low apparantly now after he killed his wife or sthg!? His window's are always blocked out with newspapers as well wich I find quite weird... maybe he's hanging up his victims' carcasses up to dry in his living room?? Oh er! :twisted:
