EASTER THURSDAY - APRIL 13TH (NO WORK THE DAY AFTER!)
NODISKO, ISSST AND CHIBUKU SHAKE SHAKE PRESENT
THE EASTER F*CK-UP!
Holy moly!
For that most special of four-day weekends we're putting on something a little bit special down at the ‘disko. Joining the Nodisko crew at JAMM will be two of London's biggest names in underground nocturnal naughtiness, Issst and Chibuku Shake Shake, for one superbly messed-up collaboration.
ISSST, the infamous club started by Tiefschwarz and the Fine Records gang at The Key in February 2005, has grown into one of London and Berlin’s best-loved electro warehouse parties. Their parties have drawn in the finest global electronic talent and the sharpest crowds, with the likes of Digitalism, DJ Hell, Freeform Five, Headman, Thomas Andersson, Nathan Fake, Chicken Lips and Joakim among the guests. The club’s taken on a life of its own in 2006 with major residencies at the Ministry of Sound, Turnmills and Medicine as well as regular soujourns at their King's Cross place of residence with main meddlers Kevin Griffiths (now also running his ace new electro label, Tsuba) and Bobby M at the helm. The pair of them will be joining NODISKO's Zak Frost and Magic Jase in the main room for a high-octane soundclash of unbridled electro-techno-acid-house madness.
Hosting Room 2 with a very special Easter Family Gathering will be some of the guys (and gal) behind the ace CHIBUKU SHAKE SHAKE parties. The club started out at the turn of the Noughties as an antidote to the dull commercial house pap that was dominating Liverpool’s scene. As that superclub and its like died a death, Chibuku rose from its ashes to become the best excuse for getting wasted in the Merseyside city – arguably in the whole of the UK, even. Hot on the heels of their sixth birthday celebrations (with parties going on in both Liverpool and London, taking over all three rooms of Fabric for the latter), the crew will be throwing their own unique house party affair, taking in everything from disco to house to electro to funk and hip hop and so many points in-between.
Let the show begin…
