Ecler the Spainish designer and manufacturer of DJ mixers has a new and exciting design competition to create the brand identity for it’s new HAK380 DJ mixer.

All you have to do is come up with a new logo for the mixer, design the mixer plate and also the packaging.

Judging the competition are award winning Clusta Design and the current UK ITF Champion - DJ Silk Cuts.

Prizes include a weekend for 2 to Barcelona and a HAK380 DJ mixer with your design on it!

The deadline for submitted work is 14th May 2006 and the competition is open to anyone over 18 from the UK.

INTRODUCING: THE HAK 380 SAVILLE ROW EDITION!!!

I decided to streamline the mixer getting rid of the useless clutter like the light show on the faceplate that no turntablist i know fuckin' bothers with.
I've also brought the upfaders right down towards the crossfader and reduced the path right down....so now you don't have to have big fuckoff child molester hands to perform Vegas scratches and shit.

Originally I planned the faceplate bdesign around a solid imitation gold Jim'll Fix It badge, but decided against it on cost grounds.

I didn't give them my number that's what annoys me. I'm not slating the night in anyway, I'd just like it if you could stop spaming me. I don't even know anyone that's involved with night - My mobile is my only point of contact what if my Mum found treasure in the basement and needed to ring me to tell me to pack my bags and set sail for St Lucia? I'd have missed the boat if I turned my phone off. For this reason I'm not going to. I will extract teeth with a wooden spoon if I'm woken for any other reason than treasure ever again.
