View Full Version : Creamfields...
Radio Merseyside reports that James Barton has revealed that they're in negotiations to hold it in Halton this year, because it's better for 'access'?
Bizarre.
Didn't realise his name was still blanked out.
It's a certain ginger figurehead :)

I'd heard that Speke Airfield has been sold to a housing developer and thats why they are looking for another site.

Thats what I heard/read too.
I have no idea where Halton is, but I heard/read they were planning on holding it in Runcorn/Warrington area.

Personally its gonna be strange not being at speake for creamfields but as always an hour into it i won't know where the f**k i am anyway!!
Taken from Echo website...
DJ Yousef, originally from Crosby, said he understood the organisers' decision..
The former Cream resident, who regularly appears at Cream-fields, said: "Cream have always been very forward-thinking so I'm sure they know what they are doing.
"Personally, I think Cream-fields is a great experience - I've always had a lot of fun there.
"I'm sure they'll have a great line-up so by the time it arrives, no one will mind.
"Runcorn isn't exactly far away. It's in the next borough to Speke so it's practically the same place. I think people are worrying about nothing."

The rumours were at the time that JB was going to turn it into a ultra trendy bar/restaurant like Baby C ream and people didn't want to lose the Le mon Lounge as a club space
