We are very proud to announce Output records don Trevor Jackson will be joining us on the birthday in the Courtyard/Radiosoulwax room.. i think this more than compensates for the late loss of tiga to the bill.. we have been trying to get our hands on Trevor for several years....

if you dont know who he is.. dont check www.trevorjackson.com but instead check something like this...

That is a very good addition. Never seen him before and he is a legendary producer.

Still would have rather have had tiga my self though.

I reckon he will be really good though and shouldn't be too busy cos he is not
one loved by joe public i wouldn't have thought.

Inspired booking. Trevor jackson is quality. Trying to get him to play outside London is like trying to get scallies to line dance.
Nice one buku peeps.

Well jackson. 8)

thats a nice little addition, given the courtyard a bit more edge. would have preffered tiga myself, but thats still some pretty fine skills in getting him in

Have you heard Tigas new album?

generaljimmy
14-02-2006, 03:08 PM
no, i imagine most of it is gash, but i love tigas singles, even some of the dodgy pisstake covers. whats it like?

Have you heard Tigas new album?

if you haven't then don't bother it is gash. i was really dissapointed. the only good tracks are "you gonna want me" and "good as gold"

generaljimmy
14-02-2006, 03:23 PM
then hes a singles man plain and simple. burning down, good as gold, pleasure from the bass and you gonna want me all good, and his remix of martini bros big and dirty is the sheez as well. none of these big room electro types can pull off an album unfortunately, the exhale thing from kitten was shite apart from the hacker track, altho sayin that, the niteversions thing was pretty good. tho now hes not doing as much with dahlback and beyer they produced most of the tiga album anyway!

i forgot about pleasure from the bass and louder than a bomb, they are good too..

yeah louder than abomb is good, but its not gay enough and doesnt work as well as a pisstake like hot in herre did, and its funnier ripping the piss out of nelly than chuck d.

Yeah by far the best tunes on tigas album are the singles. Disapoiting really cos there was nothing new on there that was any good and i was wel excited about that album.
Still would love to see him play a set. He has done some awesome mix cds.

Dj Kicks
Mixed Emotions
American Gigolo
Anyone...

But Tervors DJ Kicks is also very good. Not really sure what type of shit to expect from him when he plays though.

I dont know about good name.
I wouldnt exactly say "Pollock" is a great name. Open to a lot of abuse.
I would say a good name would be something like Jake Hardball.

Trevor Jackson is an excellent booking, well done Radio Soulwax and Chibuku, definately compensates for the loss of Tiga, he is an amazing DJ and producer.
