A friend has just sent me an email saying police have shot a bomber at Stockwell station.

Must be horrific to be living down there at the minute. Lots of love to all the London posse - hope you're all holding up OK & I hope it doesn't get in the way of everyone who is there or is going down there having a great weekend. xxx

I dont know what to think (appart from the obvious), as how are you supposed to control suicide bombers?

you cant police every single person in London (and thats one hell of a lot of people!).
are warnings such as being vigilant useful?

Although its in our country, i find it difficult to truly understand what this is doing to those living in London who have to travel to work everyday. Are we suppsoed to eye every muslim with suspision, especially if they are carrying a bag?

Will they extend their plans and move out of London into other cities, or will this not have the same affect as bombin London?

Its all fooked up, I know that for sure. :(

so everytime you think there's a muslim with a bomb your going to confront him?
its one thing being vigilant, but its another being able to do something about it.

Vigilant doesn't mean confront every muslim you see with a bag. It means be aware that people are trying to blow the frigging city up and if you see something suspicious report it.

fair enough.
my overall point being that I find it difficult to see how this is going to end. explosions yesterday, man shot today. what tommorow and the next day?

harsh times are upon us.

was watching this yesterday most of the day and when they said about one of the bombers running away they put a bulletin up telling people to look out for a tall asian man,

that cant help too much
