My trance DJ mate Ian has that mixer, its a solid mixer although you're right it's quite old now.
It takes a while to 'warm up'. After turning it on it won't give an output signal for 10/15 seconds.
Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but you got to watch out for the knobs on the crossfader and volume controls on each of the channels, they fell off far too easily.
He's also had to replace the crossfader a few more times than necessary.

You'll easily get 100 squids on ebay.
Seen a few go for between £90-150.
Congrats on the dex though, feels good dunnit :D

to be fair i used to have that mixer...its not that bad, 3 channels and eqs are fairly solid. You could do alot worse.

About time all those years of TV licence evasion paid for something worthwhile eh?
I hate Vestax mixers myself (can't comment on top end ones though as I've never used them) but that's no bad for an all-in-one purchase!
I predict some serious skills coming this way from the McGuigan now. :D

the pcv 250 is a nice mixer, a mate of mine has had his years and the eq`s are nice although they give you sore thumbs after a while due to the metal construction lol

picked up the decks on saturday morning from a lovely scouser bloke
decks were in MINT condition, and so was the mixer, and the sony headphones hadnt even been used. serious bargain there! original boxes the lot!
still going to sell the mixer tho as made a new contact last night - a stanton dj equipment supplier - 35% lower prices than cost :P
they look beautiful in the gorgeous new pad ! - no neighbours to complain about the noise either
i am a happy bunny :D
