Was severely pissed off with having to make a choice between the two in the first place. While I agree with the comments some have made about how good it is to be able to have choice in where you go out, in these circumstances I just couldn't appreciate the fact that picking one legendary act potentially meant I may never never see the other again!
In the end I elected for Numark based merely on the fact that more pals were going to Zanzibar, as luck would haveit it Zanzibar finshed at half 1 and I managed to get in Magnet for free for the last half hour!!!
I'm always gonna be proud to have seen the Furious Five live, however Numark takes the plaudits for me, he was a total proffessional for his speed, choice of songs , mixing, scratching, beat juggling, needle dropping and those building block things he used to make different beats :shock: what was that?
Although I only saw the last half hour of Furious Five I was disappointed to see Melle Mel and Scorpio pimpin up the crowd with their champagne drinking (ok that was kinda cool), flexing their pecs (definately not cool) and pointing to certain members of the crowd (cheesey and cringeworthy). However i was really pleased as I feel 100% sure I made the correct decision. Overall, quality night! 8)
