The drink is nice, but it's not smooth.it's made of a lot of coarse sorghum.Much healthier than heiniken lol.Tell me something...am i allowed to fly with it by the time i visit london?

its 15.30 over here dude. however, if you really want to take part in the full-on Chibuku experience over here, you will have to make a trip from London to Liverpool. This is where it all began.

Ah, the memories.............

I heard its a bit like porridge.l.

yeah - it's a bit like porridge....porridge that's maybe been left in the sun for a few days, so as to ferment somewhat, with the added bonus of lovely pieces of maize meal [it's in everything out there]

it's not big, it's not clever, but I gave it a go - and almost automatically re-released my recently ingested malaria pill to the outside world.

you know what they say about curiousity?

i went for a drink in a proper locals 'bar' in malawi, which was nothing more than a shed with a bench in it. me and this other guy were the only white people in sight and attempted to blend in by ordering a carton of chibuku. wanted to puke as soon as i smelt it, but in fear of offernding the locals forced half a carton down me. rank as rank can be.

We went to one in Senegal where a whore who had no teeth and was about seventy offered her wares to my friend. He declined, as she was a bit skinny for him.

We got a drink, then a knife fight broke out.

Oh how we laughed as we cowered in the corner hoping not to die.
