Tone Control Music continue the release pressure with their latest signing Poussez vs. DeMarkus Lewis and their fantastic new single titled "Passin Thru" feat remixes from Atjazz . Teaming up with ace soulful vocalist, Hannah Khemoh (Poettiquette, Reel People) and dope keys player Andy 'Touch' Fingers (from Jafar and Touch of Hustle music, Artizan and more), "Passin Thru" is a killer slice of gorgeously deep dancefloor soul.
Poussez is the electronic brainchild of London-based, dj/producer duo JAFAR (Jafar & Touch / Poetiquette / Rare Unit) and MAXIME CESCAU (Tonrausch / Toastburglar/ Waxjackkers). They have over 60 combined releases and remixes under their various monikas, gracing the likes of Hustle Music, Blacksoul, Universal Vibes, Dust Traxx, Friends of the Family, Berwick Street, Kwaito and of course the boys own Artizan label (run with their other production cohort Andy 'Touch’ Fingers). “Passin Thru” sees them join forces with old friend and legendary stateside deep house producer DEMARKUS LEWIS. Texas legend Demarkus really needs no introduction, his much sought after productions and remixes have graced the likes of world class labels including Shack, Lowdown, Alluv, Kapa, Amenti, Nightshift, Grab, BlueM and many more. Drafted in on lead vocal is Hannah Khemoh otherwise known as the front woman for Jafar and Touch's own 8 piece live band Poetiquette and more recently, as an addition to Papa Records' prolific soulful housers, Reel People! Add Andy ‘Touch’ Fingers on Keys and the results are a heady mix of deep, soulful vibes, with a killer dance floor punch!
Man of the moment, ATJAZZ was the natural choice for a remix. Following his recent hit album “Full Circle” featuring collaborations with Ernesto, Clara Hill, and Robert Owens, to name a few, and alongside his recent Version remixes with production partner Charles Webster for Miso, Sonar Kollektiv, Innervisions and more, Atjazz turns in a very heavy peak time monster deemed to have the dancefloor breaking out in a sweat!
