This also goes to DJs from the growing underground of tech, house, hip hop, d&b, breaks, soul, funk etc and anyone involved in making music from these genres...
I am in the process of organising a night out in Manchester where we all get chance to meet those people in Manchester doing the same as us... involved in a scene we are all passionate about... The idea is to get some creative juices flowing, meeting new contacts and making new friends in our respective scenes...
My partner in crime for this is Andrea Trout... some of you will know her as Scruffs girlfriend and she has graced the decks at The Magnet many times... If this first trip goes well then we are going to arrange a Manchester meets Liverpool where they come to us... This idea is in its early stages and what I need for you guys is your details, name, mobile number, email and what you do or who you represent....
We are probably going to organise a Monday night pub quiz hosted by Elliot Eastwick and get mixed Manchester/Liverpool teams as an icebreaker...
